I’ve been frustrated with my swing lately, so I bit the bullet. I signed up for golf lessons a a local driving range. I mostly want to work on my driver and wedges. I hit my irons pretty well.

If I get my driver and chipping straightened out, I should have a lot more fun out there. The guy I working with is really good. He’s pretty patient, which helps a lot, because my swing needs some patience.

Hopefully the hard work pays off on the course.

Charity Outing at Work

My company is a big charity donor. We’re having a charity golf tournament in a few months to raise money for some worthy local charities. The best part is that it will take place during a work day and if you donate, you get paid for the day.

What’s better than that? Getting paid to golf and helping other people out while I’m at it. Sweet!

Life is pretty good when you can work, golf, and donate all at once.

Can Anybody Suggest a Good Putter?

My short game has been killing me this spring. I have spent a ton of hours on the practice green and still no results. I can’t stand my current putter and I’m looking to replace it ASAP.

HELP!

Can anyone recommend a good putter? Also, if anybody knows of any place cheap to buy it, that would be a plus. Drop a line or suggestion in the comments.

Thanks

I finally got a good handle on everything at work and I’m going to take a much needed day off. I’m going to head out to one of the local courses tomorrow.

I can’t wait to hit the links. Hopefully all of the time that I’ve been spending on the range and practice green starts to pay off.
